I use the config file that came with the port, it contains this:
root@kg-v2# grep USER_FILEPROP_FILES_DIRS /usr/local/etc/rkhunter.conf
#USER_FILEPROP_FILES_DIRS="top /usr/local/sbin !/opt/ps*"
#USER_FILEPROP_FILES_DIRS="/etc/rkhunter.conf"
#USER_FILEPROP_FILES_DIRS="/etc/rkhunter.conf.local"
#USER_FILEPROP_FILES_DIRS="/var/lib/rkhunter/db/*"
#USER_FILEPROP_FILES_DIRS="!/var/lib/rkhunter/db/mirrors.dat"
#USER_FILEPROP_FILES_DIRS="!/var/lib/rkhunter/db/rkhunter*"
#USER_FILEPROP_FILES_DIRS="/var/lib/rkhunter/db/i18n/*"
# those files in the file properties check. See the USER_FILEPROP_FILES_DIRS
# those files in the file properties check. See the USER_FILEPROP_FILES_DIRS
USER_FILEPROP_FILES_DIRS=/usr/local/etc/rkhunter.conf
root@kg-v2#

The modern datacenter depends on network connectivity to access resources
and provide services. The best practices for maximizing a physical server's
connectivity to a physical network are well understood - see how these
rules translate into the virtual world?
