John and all, Error in relating what this plain ascii text was. Log shows as unknown filetypes. No specific file just the folder /dev containing them, search shows nothing as well. These may be leftover fragments of a removed pulse audio system or some other media software, best guess. Searching online found little or just garbled installation failure mentions for various media software. Found a number of related posts on /dev/intramfs, /dev/static; /dev/udev and /dev/java which helped with some other warnings. Was also wondering on consensus for whitelisting these folders? Using 1.3.6 from the stable Debian under Ubuntu 8.04 Thanks Dave ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WhatsUp Gold - Download Free Network Management Software The most intuitive, comprehensive, and cost-effective network management toolset available today.
