Best Guess as an Ubuntu User:
It could very well be the score level of 200 set by rkhunter 1.4 as
default is the culprit along with the condition these files are in plain
text instead of the normal code.
I noticed a similar condition with Pulse installed on the system as
always getting a text notice in the /dev/shm folder.
For some reason Pulse would constantly update and create some form of
regenerating text file. I do not recommend removing PUlse as it seems
formidably integral to the newer versions of Ubuntu (after 8.04LTS)
