Hello, I have a new VPS with rkHunter installed and I've been trying to clear all the false positives that it repeats in its daily report. I'm down to just a handful now, but I'm stuck on this one - Warning: The command '/usr/bin/whatis' has been replaced by a script: /usr/bin/whatis: POSIX shell script text executable From what I can find on Google it seems to be a known false positive, but I haven't found any instructions for stopping RkHunter reporting it. I'm running CENTOS 6.5 x86_64 virtuozzo – WHM 11.44.1 (build 18) and Rootkit Hunter version 1.4.2 Can anyone advise on what I need to do to stop it appearing on the daily report? Many thanks, Myles |
