I also had the same problem on Fedora 21, rkhunter-1.4.2-5 however I read that other distro's had a similar problem which was caused due to a change in the latest version of grep. Since downgrading to grep-2.20-6.fc21.x86_64 from grep-2.21 I no longer see this issue.
