Not as such no. But as it is a link it more than likely is being
included because it is the target of the '/bin/passwd' link.

No, there is no mechanism to do that.

Again, no there is no way to do that.

The only way I can think of to avoid the problem is to disable the file
properties test completely. Probably not what you want to do.
