1.3.8, the problem "rkhunter ignores wildcard in ALLOWDEVFILE" was ascribed to
a "race-condition". The condition occurs because rkhunter builds a list of
files at one point in time, but doesn't refer to the list until later, by which
time additional ALLOWDEVFILEs have appeared but are reported as suspicious due
to not being present in the earlier-built list.
A reply stated that "This has been fixed for the next release."
A follow-up appeared to confirm that the "current CVS head version fixes this".
I believe I am experiencing this problem in rkhunter 1.4.2. Has there been a
regression?
