I might suggest that you consider updating the 'man' pages to reflect the use of and significance of the 'dot.local' file. I have yet to find, see or understand how to make changes to the configuration file itself and then have the file's hash update so as to not cause 'Warnings'. I'm in the process of testing the 'dot.local' file and if that actually solves my problem ... it does say at the top of file that you can make modifications to the 'conf' file ... if that is the case, then how do you distinguish between my alterations and those of a rogue; because my changes are never updated with --propupd [file].??
