Good afternoon
Installed Rkhunter 1.4.4 on Linux Mint and on Ubuntu 14.04.5LTS. The
Linux Mint install was no real problems once I figured out what I needed
to do and functions properly the Ubuntu install appeared to go smoothly.
I removed the old rkhunter.conf file and replaced it with the adjusted
number file and ran the program.
Rkhunter has been installed successfully in the past and kept up to date
but for some reason I'm getting what may be false positives, I'm just
not sure. The propupd was used before running and after any changes in
rkhunter.conf required it. I did a thorough search for some of the files
noted which correspond to the below list of possible rootkits and worms
and they do not appear to exist.
Enable tests set to all
Disable tests commented out
