This was a case of typical operator error.
Somewhere along the line I believe I may have deleted a folder, thinking
it was for an older version.
I ran the uninstall and checked the various hidden directories and folders.
Once everything was removed I re-installed, edited the rkhunter.conf ,
ran propupd followed by the usual -c --display-logfile. All warnings
were the normal ones I've maintained as a signature/standard. No
rootkits, worms or malware.
