hi, until now, we were able to offer RKWard package bundles for OS X >= 10.7. this OS X release is no longer supported by apple and we have to upgrade our build environment. in theory, an upgrade to 10.8 would be possible, but in practice, apple's app store doesn't offer upgrades to 10.8 or 10.9 any longer.
upgrading to 10.10 (yosemite) would be possible, which would also make the development easier, since we wouldn't have to care for compatibility with several old releases for the time being. but it would also mean that the resulting bundles would require the same OS X version (or higher) as a minimum requirement. according to this source, the market share of yosemite already reached 62% of all OS X installations (10.9: 17%; 10.8: 5%): http://www.netmarketshare.com/operating-system-market-share.aspx?qprid=10&qpcustomd=0&qpsp=198&qpnp=1&qptimeframe=M we would like to find out if it would mean too much of a drawback for RKWard if future releases would only be available for OS X >= 10.10, which seems like our preferred alternative -- what's your opinion on this? viele grüße :: m.eik -- dipl. psych. meik michalke institut f"ur experimentelle psychologie abt. f"ur diagnostik und differentielle psychologie heinrich-heine-universit"at d-40204 d"usseldorf
