small update:

I've now started trying to build on Mac (VM) too. But - wow, is this
slow!

Just occurred to me, that maybe you can simply edit the "port" to
exclude the dependencies on the other qt libs. Should be at
CRAFT/portage/libs/qt5/qtwebkit/qtwebkit.py . No idea how installation
will work out, though.

BTW, installation of R will be the next stopping point, as that is
totally Windows specific in craft, ATM. But one problem at a time...
