ok, then I propose the following: We'll keep your code as is as a nice interim solution. Sooner or later it will be replaced, though, so it's not worth putting much effort into making the implementation "prettier", now (i.e. using a generated .h file would be a good idea, but not worth the trouble, here, IMO).
