my packages, on the other hand, are usually built from the most recent development (sometimes even test-)releases. that is, even if they work perfectly, they will most likely never make it to an official ubuntu release. julien didn't seem to be too happy about the idea to include patches that are not in the debian package as well (yet) -- which is perfectly fine with me, since he's the maintainer. i'll add packages for 10.04 soon (and probably quit 8.04 at the same time), so anyone can freely choose between the two flavors. given that rkward development will hoepfully not stall over the next two years, you won't be satisfied with the official LTS version for long anyway, i assume ;-) viele grüße :: m.eik -- dipl. psych. meik michalke abt. f"ur diagnostik und differentielle psychologie institut f"ur experimentelle psychologie heinrich-heine-universit"at d"usseldorf
