kdelibs5 version 4.5.4-0ubuntu1~maverick1~ppa2. i've had this on earlier KDE 
versions as well, though (that is at least throughout all of KDE 4). i just 
never reported it, guess because i always forgot about it until the end of a 
session...

i have never encountered this issue with any other application i can think of, 
and it does work as expected in other RKWard dialogs, e.g. exporting a plot.
