Hello I am trying to run RkWard both in Windows 7 64 bit and Ubuntu 12.04.3 64 bit without success.
In both R runs normally on its own and with R commander. In windows7 64 bit rkward simply does not run, no message delivered. (I am in Spain, I installed it in spanish so the message is in spanish) In windows I followed the instructions in: http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/rkward/index.php?title=RKWard_on_Windows In ubuntu I installed it through the software center. In ubuntu 12.04.3 I get the followin message at the moment of starting: "Connection closed unexpectedly. Last error was: QLocalSocket: Remote closed El motor R se apagará inmediatamente. Esto significa que no podrá usar más las funciones que dependen de él. Es decir, no podrá hacer prácticamente nada, ni siquiera guardar el espacio de trabajo (pero, si tiene suerte, R ya lo hizo). Lo que sí puede hacer es guardar cualquier archivo abierto, la salida, o copiar datos de los editores abiertos. Después salga de RKWard.
