Hi all,
machine in question had DOS installed and RL RC0 installed on a second
hard disk. All was well. Then a co-worker decided to install Win ME
(luckily to the first drive). It overwrote the bootloader. I can access
RL via the boot floppy and all works fine. I tried to reinstall grub as
follows:
at grub command prompt
root (hd0,1)
setup (hd0) <---------- here is where it bombs with unrecognized device
how do I get grub installed again on the MBR? Step-by-step is always
appreciated. BTW.... the / & /boot/grub directory is on /dev/hdb1
