That shows Serial 1 as /dev/ttyS0.  Still not working for me, though.
Must be a problem with me null-modem cable setup.  This is a new
Netra T1 and it uses an RJ45 connector that then connects to a 25-pin
adapter.

Well, now that I know which serial I need to use, I can start
troubleshooting elsewhere.
