Having just downloaded RL, but not installed it, all I can say is: I've installed Red Hat 7.x on a Promise FastTrak 100.
Promise's website has binary drivers for specific kernel versions. I havn't tried it with rl, but I needed a boot floppy to load the correct module (driver) for RH, before installing off cd. I would suspect RL has the same options for a boot floppy (find the module first :) Rick On 20 Dec 2001 at 8:46, Skidmore, Stanley G wrote: > Good morning, > I am having problems getting linux to recognize my promise ultra100tx2 hard > disk controller.
