[kapital] Kapital 0.9.7a available
Hi all, Kapital 0.9.7a is finally available at the usual download location. There are a few changes over 0.9.6a, and I'm highlighting only the more important ones here: - New file format To limit the problems we had with the previous format, now kapital stores its data in an XML file. The files from the previous version are automatically converted, and a copy is mantained. - Report engine. There is a new section, 'Report', that now has four common use reports - Bill Minder There is a new executable distributed with the package now: kapitalminder simply sits in your system tray (KDE only) and notifies you about expired scheduled transactions. It is also an easyer way to fire up Kapital. - Bug fixes a lot of bugs reported on the mailing list have been squashed, and overhall kapital is getting more stable and fast. * The register now updates all entries when a change in the balance occurs * Some crashes when entering accounts informations have been fixed. * QIF import works better now, even on large and unusual files, but as usual, since there are more QIF format than programmers, if you find bugs in this feature you can submit your QIF files directly to me and I will try to get the problem fixed. * Flickering on update of accounts and categories has been greatly reduced. * the source packages compiles cleanly now (at least I hope :) There are other fixes I don't remember, yust go on, download your package and keep reporting bugs and wishlist. -- Pradu [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.thekompany.com ------------------------------------------------------- - -- rl-users list.
