I have the Quake III game for linux and I'm
trying to install in onto Redmond Linux. at the
install window for the game I get this message;
Install Path: /usr/local/game/quake3
Binary Directory: /usr/local/bin
No write permissions on install directory
So how do I change the permissions. I know that I
do it under the Properties of a folder. But do I
change ownership, do I mark Write Entries for Group?
What is Set UID or Set GID?
