I use a firewall named IPCop that is Linux that allows sharing with most methods of connection. Once it is setup you administer it through your web browser from the other computers networked to it. It has to be installed on another computer but after you get it installed it doesn't need a monitor or keyboard. You can use an old computer as it does not need a lot of resources. I have it on a 166mhz, 32mb ram, 800mb hard drive.
