Am observat ca modulele nu le incarca singur, asa ca i-am dat eu modprobe si asa le-a incarcat. Sint sigur ca imi scapa ceva destul de minor, dar nu ma prind ce anume. M-am uitat pe documentatia aia si am gasit ceva interesant: "It appears that the ATI driver does not support the DVI port on my Radeon 8500 LE: the monitor goes into standby mode as soon as X starts up." Placa mea e si mai noua si eu am monitorul cuplat pe DVI. A mai intilnit cineva ceva asemenator? Mai jos e si un update: "Update: As of April 2005, I've installed Ubuntu's X.Org 6.8.2-10 packages, and I was curious to see if my DVI port works with the X.Org radeon driver. At first I got a blank screen again, but with the MonitorLayout option, the DVI port does finally work."
