Introducing Bluewhite64 Linux

        http://bluewhite64.arny.ro/

Bluewhite64 Linux is an UNOFFICIAL port of Slackware® Linux to the AMD64
architecture. This means that it runs on AMD64 based servers and
computers. The goal of this port is to mimic the user experience of the
Intel x86 distribution at it's best. I will try to include the same
software, configuration scripts and so on. If you notice any differences
between Bluewhite64 and the original Slackware, don't hesitate to email me.

This is the first Bluewhite64-current release (testing purposes only!).
I only ported the A, D, K and L software series. Next week, I will add
the AP and N software series, but first, I need to correct some bugs (if
any should be found ;-) ).
Please test it as much is possible and send your reports to arny[at]arny.ro.

All four software series are built on the 2.6.16.16 Kernel with gcc
3.3.6 and glibc 2.3.6 with NPTL support.
At boot, you can find two generic kernels: bare.i (with most IDE/ATAPI
support) and sata.s (with SATA disk support). More kernels will be added
in the next testing release.
