Position is located at Romania Headquarter of Dora Telecom in Bucharest.

*GENERAL DESCRIPTION:*
Provide server administration as part of the Systems Administration
Group to Linux Servers located at Dora Telecom’s data centers located in
our network. Duties include provisioning new servers, imaging,
monitoring and other daily routines. Provide escalation support via
phone and e-mail. Lead new deployments from the systems perspective by
coordinating with customers and internal resources.
*DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:*
· Daily monitoring and maintenance of ouer and customers servers.
· Perform back up, file replications and script management for servers.
· Test and apply new software and maintenance patches, including patch
management services.
· Complete security audits on a routine basis.
· Administrative scripting with Perl, Python and Shell
· Plan and expand current service offerings.
· On-boarding and migrating customers.
· Provide customer support via telephone, e-mail, knowledge base program
and other tools.
· Perform other job-related duties as required.

· 3+ years Linux Server administration experience
· 3+ years Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience
· Red Hat Certification Engineering experience is preferred
· SuSE and other Linux distributions experience is a plus
· CISCO is a plus
· Solid experience with multi-server environment / deployments
· Ability to gather requirements, design and implement appropriate solutions
· Strong process oriented experience in terms of implementation and
completion

· Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux Servers (networking and
storage)
· Familiarity with databases and web programming languages and automation
· High Availability and failover scenarios, load balanced environments
· Strong working knowledge of storage environments (SAN, NAS)
· Software experience with Apache, PHP, sendmail, postfix, LDAP, Radius,
bind, clustering
· Automation via scripting (Perl, Python, Shell)
· File Replication, File System Tuning, Upgrading and Configuring
· Troubleshooting the servers’ functioning and load as well as predict
future system demands and plan required hardware and software updates
coping with the new load;
· Disaster Recovery
· Ability to work well with customers and in a cross-team environment

· In depth knowledge and experience of Linux/UNIX operating systems,
Cisco, Firewall, Hubs/Routers, Internet Interfaces, Internet Protocols,
LAN/WAN, Routing protocols, Security,System Administration, TCP/IP
· WAN - Familiarity with and ability to troubleshoot circuits (OC3, DS3,
E1, T1, ISDN (PRI and BRI), Frame Relay, ATM, Gigabit Ethernet, DDS,
DSL, and Broadband Cable). Extensive knowledge in network protocols
including TCP/IP, IPX, routing protocols (RIP, RIPv2, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF
and BGP).
· LAN - Extensive knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching with in
depth knowledge of IP addressing, Spanning Tree, Ether-Channeling
(PAgP), Trunking, Multicasting, VLAN, and HSRP protocols. Good
understanding of wireless access and security.
· Working knowledge of mainframe, midrange, and Intel-based servers
running in single and redundant/cluster configurations.
· Fluent in English.
