salut, trebuie sa adaug un harddisk mai mare pe o masina veche. pot alege doar un harddisk ide(mai am un cablu de ide liber daca scot cdromul de pe ea). in plus,cand adaug noul harddisk as vrea sa extind cu spatiul pe care il ofera 2 din vechile partitii de pe sistem( /dev/ida/c0d0p1 - / /dev/ida/c0d0p6 - /home) .
eu nu stiu mai nimic despre raid,insa stiu ca am raid pe el. ceva cu smart array controller nu stiu cum. e un COMPAQ DL-380 G1. mai jos e output-ul de la fdisk -l. poate sunt mai multe locuri care descriu operatiunea asta insa eu aici am gasit scris despre ea http://tldp.org/HOWTO/LVM-HOWTO/extendlv.html . am venit pe lista asta de mail ca sa aflu daca e posibil sa fac ce am scris mai sus.
