*Location: Bucharest , Equant Office / IP VPN Owner Job Description :
**Purpose:
*Provide the on-time and error-free, implementation, operational maintenance
of designated VPN, including the design/validation, configuration, planning
and end-to-end testing, audit, reporting.
*Qualifications:*
Degree in telecommunications/computer science field
Minimum CCNP / CCIE certificate strongly recommended
*Experience*
+5 years experience in network topology in an operational IP environment
*Responsibilities
*
Accountable for the on-time and error-free implementation of designated MPLS
VPN, and LANs.
Meet or exceed the targets set by the management with regards to:
Customer Satisfaction
Quality of 1st time installation
Provide expert support to Pre-sales and Project Managers on VPN design
on case by case basis
Validate the detailed technical design of complex VPN
Generate configuration templates
Specify with the customer the acceptance testing procedures for complex
VPN
Perform router configuration, activation and acceptance testing for
both implementation and on-going change management
Manage the End-to-End testing with the Customers and Order Management
entities
Properly document the VPN design and make it available to the
operational entities Provide Quarterly / Yearly audits on managed VPN****
*Skills*
Language Skills: English (fluent written and verbal), local language
Romanian (if not mother tongue, fluent written and verbal)
Technical Skills: knowledge of the following:
TCP/IP, MPLS , ATM, Frame Relay, OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP4, RIP, IPX,
SNA, DecNet,
Vines, TB, X.25, UNIX/HP Openview
Strong LAN experience required
Background of CISCO Family Systems
