salutare,
se dau urmatoarele:
-centos 5.3 (2.6.18-164.el5)
-samba 3.0.33-3.7.el5_3.1
-subversion 1.6.5 (mod_dav_svn + https)
-clienti xp sp2&sp3 / vista sp1
serverul se doreste a fi unul de dezvoltare. s-a mapat directorul
partajat prin samba (home'u mai exact) si s-a trecut la treaba, scris
cod & update/commit cu tortoise svn.
initial performanta slaba a sambei (sper ca am nimerit genu' :-)) a
trecut neobservata. acum lucrurile stau altfel si la un simplu update
sau commit e crima (pe langa faptul ca dureaza foarte mult, viteza de
transfer nu depaseste 3 kBytes/s ceea ce uneori duce la
"167 kBytes transferred in 4 minute(s) and 31 second(s)
REPORT of '/projects/proiect/!svn/vcc/default':

mentionez ca pt un checkout din linie de comanda lucrurile stau cam asa
(~10.766 de fisiere):

acelasi checkout facut pe desktop dureaza 2min 18s
am incercat un test cu un iso pe samba si viteza de transfer a fost de
~7 mB/s iar la copiere de pe samba ~6.71 mB/s (desigur nu acelasi iso)
