Anuntul "oficial" urmeaza: -- cut here -- Ecommerce, a global infrastructure and business services providers, has an immediate opening for a qualified Network Operations Systems Analyst in Cluj, Romania. We are growing and need an experienced network professional to ensure connectivity in our local office and to help manage our global network, with connection points in Columbus OH, Chicago IL, New York NY, Romania (Cluj), and the Ukraine (Zaporizhzhia). The successful candidate must have the following technical skills: *TCP/IP*. Very good understanding of the TCP/IP stack - Must understand what happens to the data from the moment it leaves application layer, how and why it is divided into segments, packets, frames, bits, how it gets on the wire, and what happens after that. *Protocols*. Very good understanding of switching protocols and Cisco proprietary protocols (Spanning Tree, and VTP) //Interior Gateway Protocols//. Very good understanding of IGPs. Experience with Cisco proprietary IGPs (IGRP, EIGRP) is preferred. Work experience with routers running IGP, preferably in a large network environment. Preferably Cisco routers, but other brands (including linux routers with Quagga/Zebra) would do. //Border Gateway Protocol//. Experience with BGP, preferably in ISP environment. *Network Security*. Experience defending against DDOS attacks. Knowledge of Intruder Detection Systems. Active Cisco certifications (such as CCNP) are helpful but not mandatory. Additional skills, desirable but not required: *IT Operations*. Provides technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures. Contributes to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work. Identifies operational problems and contributes to their resolution. Provides appropriate information to specialists, users and managers. *Network control and operation*. Takes overall responsibility for the installation, upgrading, and control of local and wide area networks for the communication of data, voice, text or images. Ensures that the network is managed to provide agreed levels of service and data integrity. Ensures that network performance and traffic is monitored and reviewed. Ensures that network problems are resolved. *Network support*. Drafts and maintains procedures and documentation for network support. Makes a significant contribution to the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of network problems. Ensures that all requests for support are dealt with according to set standards and procedures. *Capacity management*. Drafts and maintains policy, standards and procedures for service component capacity management. Ensures the correct implementation of standards and procedures. Reviews information in conjunction with service level agreements to identify any capacity issues and specifies any required changes.
