Nu reusesc deloc sa configurez o placa tip $subj pe un RH 7.1.
Pe acelasi calculator am avut anterior RH 6.1 si apoi RH 7.0 si
pe ele a mers.
Am completat la modules.conf:
alias eth0 ne
options ne io=0x220 irq=12
care sunt cele corecte (le-am verificat cu softul placii) si iata ce zice:
[root@my /root]# modprobe eth0
Note: /etc/modules.conf is more recent than /lib/modules/2.4.2-2/modules.dep
/lib/modules/2.4.2-2/kernel/drivers/net/ne.o: init_module: No such device or
address
