alien -t file.rpm
sau
alien --to-tgz file.rpm 

Stie de .deb (Debian), .rpm (RedHat) , .tgz (Slackware), .slp (Stampede).

Eu l-am folosit cu succes sa instalez package-uri rpm.
Desi nici programul rpm nu e rau.
