Depinde. Mosix e bun pentru "number crunching", adica pentru clustere in care nodurile isi iau fiecare cite o felie de prelucrat, si o rontzaie acolo in coltzul lor, fara sa paseze prea multe date tot timpul intre noduri. O baza de date, din pacate, face mult I/O, si mai are si pretentia sa-l faca repede.
