conform docs de la mysql:
* If you link dynamically (without -static), the result is 13%
slower on Linux. Note that you still can use a dynamic linked
MySQL library. It is only the server that is critical for
performance.
am incercat sa compilez/linkeditez static mysqld-ul
problema este ca la un ldd apare linkeditat dinamic
am configurat mysql-ul cu optiunile:
./configure --enable-assembler --prefix=/usr/local/mysql
--with-mysqld-user=mysql --with-mysqld-ldflags="-static"
si a pus EXTRLDFLAGS = -static in toate Makefile-urile lui
deci ar trebui sa mearga dar nu merge :(
PS: poate stie cineva pana imi fac curaj si ii dau make-ul pe | less :)
