am gasit... sunt 2 chestii:
1. lasati javaplugin.so acolo unde este. NU il copiati si NU faceti link
simbolic in directoarele de pluginuri
2. export
NPX_PLUGIN_PATH=/usr/lib/opera/plugins:/home/vang/.netscape/plugins:/usr/lib/netscape/plugins:/usr/local/netscape/plugins:/usr/java/jdk1.3.1_01/jre/plugin/i386/ns4
before starting opera
