Am instalat un WebMail de la http://www.squirrelmail.org/ El are un plugin de schimbat parola prin intermediul poppasswd-ului. Am facut tot ce scria in fisierul de instalare. Si nimic. Nu am firewall. Dar cand vreau sa ma conectez pe portul 106 nu ma lasa. [root@...]# ssh 127.0.0.1 -p 106 Secure connection to 127.0.0.1 on port 106 refused. In fisierul de instalare la poppassd scrie 1.8: IINSTALLATION: 1. Edit Makefile if necessary and type 'make'. Am facut-o. 2. Install in /usr/sbin, owned by root and executable only by root. Am facut-o. 3. Add to /etc/inetd.conf: poppassd stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd poppassd Am facut-o. 4. Add do /etc/services: poppassd 106/tcp Am facut-o, cu toate ca mai era trecut cel putin o data acolo. 5. Configure tcpd to refuse connection to poppassd from all hosts but localhost. I have tcpd compiled with -DOPTIONS and my /etc/hosts.deny entry looks like: poppassd: nobody@localhost: allow poppassd: ALL: deny You may need to change 'nobody' to the user your httpd is running as. It's also worth considering to block all incoming TCP packets to port 106 on your router. Am facut-o, dar nu stiu daca am facut bine. Am scris manual. 6. Add to /etc/syslog.conf: local4.err /var/log/poppassd Am facut-o. 7. Install PopPass on you WWW server. ???. Linux-ul meu este: Red Hat Linux release 7.1 (Seawolf) Kernel 2.4.2-2smp on an i686 Ce pot sa fac? Va multumesc anticipat. P.S.
