O chestie de pe o alta lista de discutii legata de AMD vs. INTEL Well The Deed is Done. As I Stated on Wed. Layed to Rest My XP1700@1800 (1,540mhz) and got a shiny new P4 1.6A and The Asus P4B533 along with a "True Power" 415w Antec PS. I already have the Crucial 2100 Ram...Here we go.. 1.6A hit the 2133mhz mark effortlessly..( Bus at 133 Mutipler 16 ) But that was it (All Test at STOCK Voltage) I felt so good about the Northwood Core (Damn they run cool!) that I Took It Back.. and got the 2.26mhz 533mhz FSB P4. GOOD LORD So far I am At 2,720mhz on a 160 FSB. Had to set Ram down to 2.5T from 150FSB on.. but STILL!!! And Remember this is with the "Stock" Cooler an at "Stock" Voltage! I do have the covers off my case though..But its so Quiet with the P4 Stock Fan!!! you don't need covers!! Man...What if I Raised the Voltage just a "Little"..and Hit 3,000mhz with Stock Air Cooling???...Hell I am only 280mhz away! Temps with Covers Off? Asus Monitor shows 31C/87F Room at 73F....Amazing..Trust Me, Ain't no Barton gonna Overclock like a P4..Cost 255Bucks gain? 1,180mhz in speed so far over my XP1800 Every test on the new shows amd's best can't catch the P4 at 2,533mhz.. and these 2.26's hit that with no sweat whatsoever...The P4 with this 533FSB has Just Put the T-Bred that Tops out at 1,890mhz all over the net "TO REST" Period.Damn this OverClocking Sucker is Fun to Play With! Better Get "Yours" Now... While the Batch is Hot!....Face it guys its time to switch over...Deep Down..You Know I am Right...
