Salut
Am dat un mesaj acu cateva zile legat de a afla memoria utilizata de
kernel.
Din cate stiu eu ca sa vad memoria utilizata de aplicatii (+kernel?) la
output-ul comenzii free citesc a doua linie acolo unde e -/+
buffers/cache. In general am vazut ca acolo arata memoria utilizata FARA
caching.
Ex.
$ free
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 256136 251632 4504 0 7048 181536
-/+ buffers/cache: 63048 193088
Swap: 136512 9824 126688
So acei 63048 ar trebui sa fie kbytes utilizati de aplicatii (+kernel
eventual). So nu as avea nici un motiv sa imi apara ca imi omoara
httpd-uri din motive de memorie, right ?
