Dupa o munca de sclav, adica am compilat KDE-3.1 pe un RH-8.0, pachet cu pachet, incerc lansarea lui.
Preliminar acestei operatii am instalat Qt-3.1 si pus in .bash_profile:
QTDIR=/usr/local/qt
PATH=$QTDIR/bin:$PATH
MANPATH=$QTDIR/doc/man:$MANPATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$QTDIR/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATHexport QTDIR PATH MANPATH LD_LIBRARY_PATH
De asemeni in /etc/ld.so.conf amscris /usr/local/qt/lib #si am disablit calea catre qt-ul vechi 3.0.5
KDE-3.1 l-am instalat in /usr/local/kde. Pentru el am scris(adaugat( in .bash_profile
PATH=$PATH:$HOME/bin:/usr/local/kde/bin
In final in .xinitrc am scris "exec /usr/local/kde/bin/startkde"
Si cu toate astea la lansare, se lanseaza tot KDE-ul vechi !?!?
