The TMySQLComponents consists of TMySQLServer and TMySQLDataset. The purpose of these components is to give you full direct access to all MySQL server's feature using your standard data aware controls in either Delphi or Kylix without the BDE or dbExpress limitations. The components are Single Source and will thus compile in either Delphi 5/6 or Kylix 1 using the same PAS
In principiu Kylix x Open-Edition nu are librariile pentru citeva componente de baza necesare pentru accesul la baze de date (nici "data access" nici "data aware controls")
Ideea e sa gasesti pe net componente care sa acceseze direct API din librariile MySQL - asta pentru "data access". Pentru "data aware controls" e mai nashpa treaba. Nu cred ca gasesti asa ceva.
