Daca vrei logare ca pe yahoo, nu poti folosti .htaccess, ci scripturi (PHP, Perl, etc) in care faci verificarile de parole si tot ce mai e nevoie. htaccess e doar o modalitate sa restrictionezi prin parola un site (sau portiuni de site). Autentificarea in acest caz e standard si se face de catre serverul de web. Pe yahoo, autentificarea se face prin scripturi home-made ca sa zic asa, ceea ce va trebui sa faci si tu.
