Citat din al meu /usr/share/doc/ntpdate/README.Debian (mi-e lene sa caut
ceva non-distro-specific):

Also, note that ntpdate is *not* really intended to be used by servers
with good network connectivity. The 'ntp' package, which provides a
persistent daemon that does a better job of keeping system time than
even a cron'ed invocation of ntpdate, is a better choice for systems
with good network connectivity.

--- ticks.roedu.net ping statistics ---
5 packets transmitted, 5 received, 0% packet loss, time 4039ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 11.732/13.685/16.039/1.640 ms

Good enough for me. :-)

Era hiperbola. ntpd sta prea mult sa seteze ceasul, e bun cand e deja
setat si vrei sa stea asa.
