Sigur multi stiu deja adresa, dar cum tot au aparut ceva discutii
despre memorie:

 http://www.csn.ul.ie/~mel/projects/vm/

This page is a documentation page for the Linux VM for 2.4. The first
two documents posted are the major bodies of work. They have been
finalised and are very unlikely to change in the near future so any
future documentation will be 2.6 related.

The first document is a comprehensive. It covers the theoretical
foundations to the VM and how they are implemented in Linux. The second
document is a code commentary giving a guided tour of a significant
portion of the VM. The two documents are my thesis but they have been
written carefully to be readable by anyone that has read a general OS or
Linux book. There was older documents here but they were mainly working
notes and have been since removed due to being inaccurate.

For the more practical people looking to tinker with the VM, see VM
Regress which is a framework tool for analysing, testing and
benchmarking the VM and it might be of interest. For those actively
reading the code, CodeViz is a call graph generating tool for C/C++
which was a big help for me when developing this documentation and
comprehending the kernel code.
