Eu vad o diferenta .. Ma rog nu sunt expert dar la kernelul 2.4.22 compilat de tine nu vad append="root=LABEL=/" .. Numai la cel default. Incearca sa scoti chestia aia. Din nou e numai o observatie si stiu ca si la mine tot asa merge.. De ce? Nu cunosc termenul .. Poate cineva mai intr-ale linuxului decat mine poate sa iti explice ;) Succes!
