Experience has taught me to go to the developers and not companies, as any company I talk to tells me they can do it and they are perfect. Please accept my apologies if this post is completely offbase and should no= t be here, but I do not have any personal contacts in Romania who are technical. Since this is the Romanian LUG, it seemed the best place to find GOOD devel= opers. Let me introduce myself...I am from New York and have over 12 years experie= nce in software and systems, with the last 7 years in Internet development. I am bootstrapping a startup to provide a 21st century virtual directory for business professionals. To understand the space and project scope, look at "Linkedin.com" which has the closest functionality. Being a startup we have= a limited budget, which is why I am looking to go offshore My challenge is to find a development team that has the technical depth to = build a site that will scale and build it within our budget. There are many compa= nies and people claiming to be site developers, but they do simple static sites = or basic DB driven sites ; and they have no technical depth. I am looking for an English speaking team that I can work directly with to = do this. I can work with an established company or a new startup team. My pri= mary concerns are Developers speak English Understand Net space and =93Get=94 what we are doing. Good coders and experienced=85quickly write code using a prototype approa= ch.
