Probabil ai nevoie si de freetds. apt-cache search freetds freetds-dev - MS SQL and Sybase client library (static libs and headers) Presupun ca asta iti mai trebuie. Asa ca apt-get install freetds-dev.
Eu cand am facut conectarea la mssql am facut-o pe o alta distributie, pe debian nu am incercat si sper sa nu fie vreodata cazul.
