Trebuie ca pe inel sa ai doar bridge-uri care stiu de stp. Ai
putea avea si switchuri "chioare" insa trebuie sa te asiguri ca sint STP
transparent. Preferabil ar fi totusi sa ai doar bridge-uri care stiu
STP.
Dupa ce vei activa STP pe toate (atit switchuri cu management
cit si bridge-uri linux) reteaua va avea o anumita topologie (dpdv. al
STP). In cazul in care acest inel se "rupe" bridge-urile vor sti sa
forwardeze frame-urile pe segmentul care pina acum era in blocking.
