If you're talking about VPN, I would suggest you make mention of CIPE. It's included with Red Hat now and is easily compiled on most other distros (using gcc 2.95... Strangely, version 3 compilers give tons of compiler warnings).

I'm planning on covering much of the standard stuff, passwords/PAM, turning off everything that isn't needed, ssh, firewalls, etc... Also, talking about network intrusion detection using snort, host intrusion detection with tripwire, etc. A bit about VPN's etc.. Anything else that I should talk about? Are any of you using linux for some security function at work/home? thanks -jim _______________________________________________ RLUG mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.rlug.org/mailman/listinfo/rlug _______________________________________________ RLUG mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.rlug.org/mailman/listinfo/rlug
