I think step 1 needs to be clarified a bit. The client doesn't have an IP 
address to begin with, so it must do an ARP broadcast. 


Client ARP Broadcast: hey network! here is my MAC, I need a DHCP server to tell
 me what to do
 * DHCP Server -> Client: Your IP is 1.2.3.4, your DNS suffix is 
 foobar.com, and your DNS server IP is 1.2.3.1 (and WINS address, and
 location of tftp server and kernel if you are doing a LTSP)
 * Client -> 1.2.3.1 DNS Server: Hi, win2kclient.foobar.com is now 1.2.3.4.
 * 1.2.3.1 DNS Server -> Client: Okay, DNS updated.

But I'm just nit-picking :)
