I have a redhat 8 box, win2k, & mac G4 running osX. here is the problem. when i am at the linux box, i can open nautilis, type smb:///, browse my network, and even write to the shares. no problem. When i am at my win2k machine, i can see the linux box, but cannot access it, and my mac doesnt even see it. I have googled for days to find an answer, but alas, have come up short. Im sure it is something easy, but i am still very much a noob. What could it possibly be?? i really do not care to get the win2k box to access it, im more concerned with osX. has any one had any luck getting linux & macosX to play nice??
