It's what I have, so I don't have to buy one.

It's not Intel, so it's *slightly* more interesting.

It has a boot prom system worth mentioning.

There's no possibility of incompatibility with the existing
hardware, and it's almost 10 years old, so there's no point in
upgrading to *new* hardware.

Basically, it's new!  It's different!  Given all the money in the
world with which to purchase efficient, quality computer
equipment, it probably wouldn't be a sparc, but I'll sure as hell
play with one!
